
Through speaking, writing and consulting, Eleanor LeCain shows how we can move forward by building on breakthrough solutions which show the way to a new world. Ms. LeCain has spoken around the world including Harvard University; Kyoto, Japan; Oslo, Norway; and Penang, Malaysia. Her articles have been published widely from the New York Times to the Boston Business Journal to Le Monde in Paris, France. She is the author of Breakthrough! Social Innovations that Can Improve Your Life and Change the World with an Introduction by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Ms. LeCain helps governments and organizations see new possibilities and increase effectiveness by being more strategic and by building on breakthroughs. She served as Massachusetts Assistant Secretary of State and as Executive Director of Blueprint 2000, futures planning for the entire state. She helped Boston Edison develop the next generation of energy efficiency programs. She ran a Leadership seminar for the women of Afghanistan. She advised the Kyoto Businessmen’s Association on opportunities in environmental business. She served as campaign manager for three campaigns in Massachusetts and happily won all three. Ms. LeCain is the founder and president of the World Innovation Network (WIN) which identifies breakthrough solutions and communicates them widely so they can be adapted across the US and around the world. Based in Washington, DC, Ms. LeCain is a graduate of Yale University and the University of California Boalt Hall School of Law.
